We are thrilled to invite you to this year’s Districtwide Earth Day event! This is our second annual districtwide Earth Day celebration, and after the incredible success of last year’s event we cannot wait to continue to share the amazing work that our students and staff are doing with the broader community.
Earth Day Event Details
Date: March 24, 2025
Time: 4 to 8 p.m.
Location: Computer History Museum, 1401 N. Shoreline Blvd., Mountain View
This event will feature engaging speakers, student projects and refreshments to celebrate our district’s shared commitment to sustainability.
The students from the Climate Collective are particularly excited and seek your support in making this event a success. Here’s what one the collective’s participants, Student Board Representative Arnav Singhal, shared about Earth Day: “Earth Day is an opportunity for students to showcase and learn about the good work going on in terms of Environmental Literacy in FUHSD across all subject areas. We hope for your continued support in inspiring us—the future leaders—to tackle the challenges with our changing planet that our generation has to face.”
This year, Climate Collective students have been working on initiatives such as paper recycling programs and calculating and reducing the carbon footprint across FUHSD. You can learn more by visiting the Climate Collective webpage, www.fuhsdclimatecollective.com, which includes a student created dashboard where you can explore the energy usage of our school district.
We hope to see you at Earth Day to celebrate our collective efforts in sustainability!
