Enrollment for Next Year (2026-27)

The On-Line Registration system for the 2026-27 school year is now open!

Please follow the important steps below to enroll your student for the next school year (2026-27)

  1. Online Registration (OLR)
    This is an online tool that provides the district with all of the needed information to start a student's enrollment.  This process requires you to enter data and for documents to be scanned or photographed so they can be attached to the form before submission. This tool requires a computer (do not use phones or tablets). The Enrollment and Residency office has computers available if you need access to one. To begin the OLR, scroll down to the Online Registration section below.

  2. Student Course Selection Process
    If you are coming from Cupertino Union or Sunnyvale School District, course selection will be done through guidance presentations at the Middle school or High School. For For all other new students, once you have completed the Online Registration information form and fully submitted all documents required, your information will be sent to the school for final processing. Then you will receive direct communication from the resident high school about course selection.

  3. Monta Vista and Lynbrook Transfer Programs
    Don't forget, if you live in the Homestead attendance area, you can apply for your student to attend Monta Vista High School instead. Click on this link to learn more: Transfer Programs
ON-LINE REGISTRATION (OLR)
FUHSD will uses an electronic address verification process for enrollment, saving parents the time and trouble it takes to provide multiple address verification documents. For anyone, whose primary address cannot be verified as being within District boundaries or who would prefer uploading all required address documents, the On-line Registration (OLR) system will automatically require three address verification documents to be uploaded, just like prior years.  There are multiple reasons a person and the address may come back as not matching, such as a recent move, the address is outside of our district boundaries, incorrect information was entered, the primary address is different than address provided and more. For more information, click on: Detailed Instructions.

Use the "Start a New Online Registration" button below to access the Online Registration (OLR) system in order to start the enrollment process for new students wishing to enroll in the current school year. The first step in the process is to verify your primary address using the new digital verification system.

If you have already started one and need to return to it, please use the "Return to a Previously Started..." button.

Please remember the following:

  • High school placement is based on student's primary home address
  • A student can have only one residence for the purposes of establishing residency and must live with a parent or legal guardian;
  • PO Boxes will not be accepted for residency purposes;
  • All documents provided for residency must be current, valid and legible
  • Our district receives our funding directly from the property taxes paid by our community residents, with no funds provided by the state based on enrollment. Our residency efforts help ensure that that every tax dollar of our community is used to support students that live with the parent/guardian full time within our boundaries
  • If you have any questions about what constitutes a primary residence or other legal matters, please go to:
