Animal Welfare Meeting 5/15

Come out to our ninth animal welfare meeting on Monday, May 15th at lunch in room C104! We will be learning about marine pollution and how it affects animals! We will also be going over two events for volunteering! We will be passing out candy to everyone who comes! Make sure to come out to our club meeting and bring your friends!

Combination Padlocks for Hall Lockers - return to Louise week of May 15th

Attention students: During the week of May 15th, turn in your HHS Hall Locker combination black padlock. Include your name, Student ID number, Hall Locker number/building, and padlock combination (series of 3 numbers).  See Louise in the GSS Front Office the week of Monday 05/15- Friday 05/19 from 2-4pm. Congratulations to F=ma Finalists

Congratulations to the students who completed the F=ma exam. We had two students, Kartikey Sharma and Johnny Zhang, who got honorable mentions and two students, Ishwar Suriyaprakash and Rohan Bodke, who got silver medals. Again, congratulations on a truly exceptional achievement!

Psychology Club Barnyard Buddies event

Hey Homestead! Psychology Club is hosting an animal de-stressing event this Wednesday (May 17th) at lunch. Come out to de-stress after AP tests and before finals, by petting some animals. We hope to see you there!

Mock Trial - Bake Sale!

Hi Homestead! Mock Trial will be hosting a bake sale on Wednesday, May 17, from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm in the quad. Come grab a cookie and support our program! We hope to see you there.

Grads, celebrate your day!! Leis are available through PRE-ORDER ONLY. Sales have been extended to 5/24! Pickup will be on Graduation Day, June 8 @ Mustang Field, at the Snack Shack, before the graduation ceremony. Order with the QR code on the Flyer.

Future Pilot's Club Meeting 5/26

Have you ever wanted to fly an airplane? Join us in A108 from 3:10-4:10 p.m. on Friday, May 26th when we will be flying a cross-country flight via. a legit flight simulator! Snacks will be provided.

Yearbook Sales: Last Chance!

The HHS Yearbook staff, Pegasus, is proud to announce our 2023 yearbook: Renaissance. If you purchased an ASB card at the beginning of the year, you have already preordered a copy of the book. If you did not purchase an ASB card and would still like to order a yearbook, the remaining copies will be available for purchase on the yearbook page of the student store starting on May 8. There are a limited number of copies remaining, so be sure to order yours before the books sell out! Once the books sell out, there will be no additional opportunities to purchase. 

Books will be distributed to seniors at senior checkout, and to grades 9-11 during our yearbook distribution event after school on June 6.

Indopak Sapnay Ticket Sales

Hey Mustangs! Get hyped for Indopaks 23rd annual dance showcase, Sapnay! Hosting 13 teams from all across the Bay Area, this year's Sapnay will be held on May 20th at 6pm in the Large Gym. All 5 Homestead teams will be performing, as well as a teacher dance, from your very own Homestead staff! The Mandatory Senior Survey/FAFSA/ Final Transcript Information is available for you to complete now. Please complete the "assigned" Mandatory Survey/ Final Transcript is due by Monday, May 29th. Not sure where to find these thing? Go to Schoology and check under the "updates" for all the details.  If you have any questions or need assistance please feel free to drop by the CCC at brunch or lunch. Flash pass available during Brunch and Lunch only!

Academic Center

Academic Center is open Monday-Thursday from 2:00 - 4:30pm in the Library to students at Homestead High School. If you need a place to do your homework or get additional support from tutors please visit the Library.

SAT, ACT, AP Test Prep Resources for Spring

Homestead High School PTSA works with outside vendors to help our students prepare for college admissions exams. Our vendors have SAT ACT and AP (certain subjects) mock tests planned for Spring. Please see flyer for registration details.
