AVID holiday giftwrapping fundraiser during finals week The AVID class of 2024 will be holding their annual holiday gift wrapping fundraiser during finals week, on the following dates: --Monday, December 19 from 12:30-3:30pm, --Tuesday & Wednesday, December 20 & 21 from 2:30-4:00pm, AND --Thursday, December 22 from 9:30am-2:30pm in room C102. We will provide everything for you – boxes, bags, tissue paper, wrapping paper, bows, tags, etc. Just drop your gifts off in room C102 (be sure to label the “to” and “from” on each gift with a post-it) and our expert AVID elves will instantly make them look beautiful. All donations will go toward supporting the AVID Class of 2024’s junior trip to visit SoCal schools during Spring Break this year. You choose the amount you want to donate – every little bit helps! COVID 19 Testing Kits It’s that time of the year as we approach the holiday season, we want everyone to feel they can travel, spend time with their families, and enjoy their holidays without worry! With all the traveling that people do, it is recommended to test prior to returning to campus. This is NOT required to return to school in January. We have been distributing At-home COVID testing kits to all students at Homestead who would like a kit during brunch and lunch this week. Proceeds will support Homestead Athletics. All ages and abilities are welcome to this community-wide event. An alternate course on the track will be available for those who need a flat surface. Check in is at 10:30a and the run/walk begins at 11:00a.
