FUHSD Week in Review - Sept. 18 through 22

Congratulations to the staff of Monta Vista High School's student newspaper El Estoque, which has been named as one of 49 finalists for the Newspaper Pacemaker Award by the National Scholastic Press Association (NSPA)! Award winners will be announced at the NSPA Fall Convention in Dallas this November. The NSPA Pacemaker award has a rich tradition and the association started presenting the award to high school newspapers a few years after the organization was founded in 1921. Throughout the years, yearbooks, magazines, online sites and broadcast programs were added to the competition. Read more about the Newspaper Pacemaker Award and all the finalists at http://studentpress.org/nspa/awards/npf17/

The students of the FUHSD Intra-District Council (IDC) have created a short video to let their peers know about upcoming district-wide events and encourage them to get involved with IDC. Watch the video on YouTube
