CONGRATULATIONS Employees of the Year from Lynbrook High School

Malissa Goldstein began working in the District in 2000 as a Guidance Counselor at Fremont High School, transferring to Lynbrook High School in 2004. In this position, she is key to making sure that all students are in the appropriate classes and are making the best academic choices.

“I consider Malissa Goldstein one of the finest counselors I have worked with in my 35 years in education,” stated Rich Amlin, Lynbrook High School Assistant Principal. “She is very sensitive, perceptive, and caring, while maintaining a firm and fair objectivity that enables her to lead the students and their parents through counseling sessions and arrive at ‘do-able’ solutions for the issues at hand. Importantly, the kids really LIKE Malissa and respond to her suggestions. ”
