Aditya Nag of Monta Vista High School has won the Jack Parsons Memorial Best of Show Award at the 44th Annual Junior Photography Contest presented by the Photographic Guild of Los Gatos.  His photograph, titled Audrey elicited the following commentary from the judges:

"You have already seen this photograph tonight. It won 1st place in the portrait category and the judges and members felt that it was the best of all of tonight’s other first place winners. It illustrates mastery of its category—portraiture—but also the craft and art of photography. The photograph is clean and in sharp focus. The colors are true and properly saturated and appropriate to the subject. The dark areas show detail and the hair has beautiful highlights. The model’s pale skin glows yet shows shading and surface texture. The composition is carefully arranged in a pleasing and appropriate way to show off the subject. Even the cropping of the image helps focus attention and completes the photographer’s intention in making this wonderful image."
