Boundary Map

Students must reside full-time within Fremont Union High School District boundaries to attend high school in the District.

The Fremont Union High School District (FUHSD) is committed to providing students a quality education and access to a variety of programs. As a Basic Aid district, FUHSD does NOT receive funding from the state based on the number of students enrolled in its schools. Instead, the District receives a “flat” amount of funding based on tax dollars paid on the property within its boundaries. The District must ensure that these limited dollars be used to educate the students who actually reside within the District.

Will the District change
school boundaries in the future?

The District's Boundary Map specifies the attendance areas served by each high school. Students must live in the attendance area to attend a high school.

There is absolutely no talk of changing boundaries at this time or in the near future.

Who makes this decision?
