2005-2006 School Plans
Under the guidance and direction of Associate Superintendent of Teaching and Learning Kate Jamentz, the District has made major changes in the school planning process this year. School Plans are a yearly requirement of all schools for both state and federal resources/grants and for the WASC accreditation process. The revamped School Plans include a common set of student performance indicators that will be addressed by all schools, a format for reporting activities aligned to the WASC self-study process (set of measurable goals and a list of activities/tasks planned for the year with expected date of completion for each), and a way to cross reference school goals and activities with the District's Long Range Plan.

For this school year, the District has changed the timeline for writing school plans as they were previously done in May for the following year. Plans presented now through March tell the story of work in progress this school year—the principal of each of our five high schools will present their 2005-2006 School Plan at a Board meeting as noted below. Each School Plan will be online in pdf format once presented.

Beginning next fall, School Plans will be presented to the Board of Trustees at the end of October for the 2006-2007 school year.
