STANDARDIZED TESTING & REPORTING
The STAR program provides annual data to measure the performance of schools in the State of California. STAR results include the California Standards Test (CST), California Modified Assessment (CMA), the California Alternative Performance Assessment (CAPA), and the Standardized Test in Spanish (STS). The purpose of these tests is to determine how well students are achieving California’s content standards.
The state has delayed the release of STAR testing results from the spring 2012 testing season. Student score reports will be mailed home once they arrive from the state, most likely in early September.
